Welcome to the Disk2FDI support software page!

You can also access other Disk2FDI pages:

These softwares weren't coded by me, so please don't bug the respective authors about Disk2FDI-specific questions. My e-mail address can be found in the documentation of the Disk2FDI package available on the main page.

Get ADFOpus, mainly coded by Dan Sutherland and Gary Harris. This software allows extraction of files from an ADF image (and importing them to an ADF as well). It also includes a nice Disk2FDI frontend. Note that the frontend part will NOT work under Windows NT, 2000 and XP.

Download a stand-alone Windows 95, 98 and ME frontend for Disk2FDI, coded by Przemyslaw Kowalczyk. This is a new version (1.1) that adds some features. Note that it will NOT work under Windows NT, 2000 and XP.

View the document, written by Wolfgang Moser, explaining how to modify a 5.25" HD floppy disk drive to operate at 300 rpm, so that it can be used with Disk2FDI to extract Commodore 1541 disks.

Download a test image (useful for developpers who want to support the FDI files)

Download C sources, coded by Toni Wilen of the WinUAE team (enhanced by Thomas Harte, author of ElectrEm), to convert FDI tracks back to raw bit streams (useful for developpers who want to support the FDI files). Licence: GPL.
